The Continuum of Care (CoC) Program is designed to promote community-wide commitment to the goal of ending homelessness; provide funding for efforts by nonprofit providers, and State and local governments to quickly rehouse homeless individuals and families while minimizing the trauma and dislocation caused to homeless individuals, families, and communities by homelessness
Homeless Services Network of Central Florida, on behalf of the Central Florida Commission on Homelessness is excited to announce the first of three rounds of funding to enhance our community response to family homelessness. This request for applications is intended fill gaps in the current system to insure that families who are newly homeless resolved their housing crisis as quickly as possible and then do not return to homelessness.
One of our realities is that federal funding comes with limitations that prohibit us from providing some services to persons experiencing homelessness in our community. In order to expand upon the resources available to our providers within the homeless services community, funding opportunities have been made possible through our jurisdictional partners, the state and various private entities.
