We Advocate

We advocate to change perception in our community of those experiencing homelessness as well as push pro-housing policies at the local, state, and federal level.

It is up to us, the community at large, to speak out on behalf of our neighbors experiencing homelessness. When the public speaks, our community and elected officials listen. Help the Central Florida Commission on Homelessness make homelessness for our neighbors rare, brief, and a one-time event by adding your voice to the chorus.

Our Challenge

We challenge our elected officials on the local, state, and federal level to support policy on housing and homeless services. Learn more about the government officials we interact and partner with by clicking the link below.

Our Community

We are building community coalitions to tackle important issues, like housing that’s affordable for those considered low-income earners. As an example, this summer we are launching the HOME Team – a coalition of realtors, developers, and community leaders who can help us push for groundbreaking solutions for those struggling to find housing that is stable.
